How to Build a World: Writing Fantasy & Sci-Fi

Do you like to bend time as your heroes travel to distant planets? Is your mind filled with other-wordly beings and magic? Take your writing on an unbelievable adventure this summer. In this Writers in the Schools (WITS) workshop, you’ll learn how to bring your own stories to life through character development, dialogue, and vivid description. Bring in stories you’ve already started, or you can start writing original work. At the end of the workshop, you will share your writing with family and friends, and take home an epic poem or short story.
